Churches Hosting Free Christmas Festival!
Children and their families are invited to a free Christmas festival on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 3 to 5 p.m., at United Methodist Temple in Beckley.
The event includes refreshments, pictures with Santa, tours of a real fire truck, cookie decorating, crafts and games with prizes.
Children are also invited to hear the story of Jesus’ birth, and families will receive an artist’s gift of a silhouette of children’s profiles. They will also be entered to win door prizes, including a $100 Wal-Mart gift card.
This free festival, hosted in partnership with Beckley Community, Sophia and Mabscott United Methodist churches, takes place at United Methodist Temple’s recreational building, The Place, at 201 Templeview Drive, up the hill behind the Hyundai dealership on Robert C. Byrd Drive. All are welcome!
