On October 23rd from 11:30am-1:30pm the Southern District will be hosting a meeting with our Conference Treasurer, Jamion Wolford. This is open to both clergy and laity. Church treasurers and those working with church finances are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be valuable information shared at this meeting as well as opportunities to have your questions answered! Lunch will be provided!
Topics will include:
Church Finances: budgeting proces, the Local Church Audit Guide, W2 and W3 forms, 1099s and 941/944 forms
Apportionments: current formula, and the Conference Committee on Finance
Other Topics: liabilty insurance, 501c3 status, and document retention.
